Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
ODSP offers: Money to help you and your eligible family members with living expenses, including food, and rent, Health benefits, including prescription drugs and vision care, Employment support to help you find and keep a job or advance your career
Ontario Disability Support Program Transportation for Medical Appointments and Treatment
If you and your family spend $15 or more a month on transportation, you may receive money to cover the cost of travel to and from a medical appointment with an approved healthcare professional. Approved health care professionals include doctors, dentists and nurses. The cost of transportation may also be covered under the Mandatory Special Necessities Benefit if you are attending: mental health therapy, mental health counselling, drug or alcohol recovery groups. Please contact your ODSP worker to find out if you are eligible for help with these transportation costs before spending money.
Ontario Drug Benefit Pharmacist Support
Some local pharmacies partner with SWPH to provide free nicotine replacement therapy such as patches and gum along with counselling to Ontario Drug Benefit recipients. *Free nicotine replacement therapy is subject to availability.
Ontario Drug Benefit Program
You will qualify for the Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) program when you turn 65 years old. You will qualify before you reach that age because you’re: Living in a: long-term care home, home for special care, or Community Home for Opportunity, 24 years of age or younger and not covered by a private insurance plan, Receiving professional home and community care services, Receiving benefits from Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program, Enrolled in the Trillium Drug Program
Ontario Health atHome (Access to Long Term Care)
Helps individuals and families assess eligibility, apply for long-term care homes, and choose between options; provides 24/7 care in licensed facilities, including nursing care, therapy services, personal care, meals, and social programming.
Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General's Victim/Witness Assistance Program
Oversees the province's justice system by providing legal advice to government, administering courts, prosecuting crimes, and ensuring access to justice, especially for vulnerable populations.

Features culturally-relevant resources within a 2SLGBTQQIA+ toolkit.
Ontario Structured Psychotherapy
Access free, evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and related supports for anxiety and depression through guided or self-directed options.
Ontario Works (OW)
If you need financial assistance for food and housing, and are in financial need, you can apply for financial and employment assistance through Ontario Works.
