London Health Sciences Centre Transportation for Dialysis
Provides info and resources for patients travelling for dialysis treatement.
Lung Cancer Screening
Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers and is the most common cause of cancer death in Ontario. The reason so many people die from lung cancer is that by the time it is usually diagnosed, the cancer has spread to other parts of the body or is too big, and treatment has less of a chance of working.
March of Dimes After Stroke
A free, nationwide service offering stroke survivors and their caregivers peer-support groups, online and telephone programs, exercise- and movement-based sessions, and personalized recovery planning.
MedsCheck Program
If you are taking multiple medications, the MedsCheck Program, available at most pharmacies, helps ensure that you are getting the most benefit from your medications and that you are taking them as prescribed. Anyone taking a minimum of 3 medications and who has an Ontario health card is eligible for the MedsCheck Program.
Mennonite Community Services
Helps newcomers (especially Low German speakers) settle into Elgin with support for paperwork (immigration, citizenship), orientation to life in Canada, interpretation services, family support, and referrals to local services.
Mennonite Community Services Employment Services
Offers job search support, career counselling, skills training, and employment resources to help individuals, including newcomers and those facing barriers, find and maintain meaningful work. Low German support is available.
Mennonite Community Services Transportation
Providing medical transportation through an application process. Call to apply or make an appointment.
Middlesex County Connect
Regional public transit linking communities in London, St. Thomas, and surrounding areas with accessible buses and app-based booking.
Mind Your Mind
Mental Health and Wellness Platform designed mainly for youth and young adults. Provides accessible, relatable information and tools to help people understand and manage their mental health.
