Beendigan's Talk4Healing (Indigenous)
A 24/7 service offering talk, text and live-chat support for Indigenous women and their families across Ontario, grounded in Indigenous culture and provided by Indigenous women. A First Nation community located in Muncey, Ontario offering a broad range of culturally grounded services including primary health care, mental health & addictions support, early years programming, and family-youth wellbeing services. Health centre with services provided by community workers. Community-led health teams develop programs to improve the social supports and conditions that affect long-term health. Culturally appropriate programs and services for Indigenous people, combining traditional healing and Western medical practices. Offers employment support, skills training, and career development programs for Oneida community members to enhance job readiness and long-term employment opportunities. Offers holistic community health programs including mental-health services, youth prevention, home & community care, chronic disease management and traditional healing, all delivered in a culturally grounded, supportive environment.
